Here I am...

I havent been on here in over 6 months. How bad of me. I dont even know if anyone still looks on here now facebook has taken over the internet.

have had a busy few months.

Abi has started school and loving it alot. Alex is loving his class too, his teacher is really good with him. Knows his personality and knows how he works, even better than what I do...

Im still working my 4 whole hours merchandising and I love it.

Chris is enjoying his job too, still lots on which is fantastic...

Ok, would love to hear from anyone who is still out there in blog land...

Happy Holidays

What a fantastic time we had away.

A costly one but other than that, A good one.

First off we arrived and un packed etc...

Went for a tiki tour around, ended up in Lynmall.

Chris got some new clothes etc.... We then went to The Steak House for dinner, delish but not as fab as I tohught it might be, excellent service though.

On Wednesday was Zoo day.. Got there right on opening and the car park was already 90% full...

Saw the tiger cubs, as well as everything else.. Only the aquarium, Avairy and Llamas were closed, but they are closed till 2010-2011....

Then on Thursday this was Kelly tarltons day...

What an amazing place.

Expanded 100% since we were last there.

They hav e their Turtle topia expo on at the moment.. very interesting.

From there we took the kids for a run along Mission Bay beach.

Got Starbucks and then went to Manukau for a shop.

Bought a new vacuum cleaner, how exciting I hear you say.. Well it is when the last one didnt even suck.

Then after Dinner which was Dennys (YUMMY).. We took the kids into town to see the sky tower, its look great, lit up Pink for breast awareness month...

On Friday we went to Butterfly Creek, very disapointing...

Then we headed home...

But in Hamilton we purchased a new car...

See, expensive holiday I tell ya......

WOW Its OCtober already.

only 3 more sleeps and we are off to Auckland for 4 days. We all cant wait.

So much to do and not much time, but it beats being bored. But im dreading the crowds and rush..

Im pretty laid back down here in little ol Tokoroa. No traffic lights, no malls, no crowds.. its fantastic.

Last Monday I got my hair re-coloured. I love a decent hair cut...

So how are the holidays going for you all?

Some days I know now why some animals eat their young....

WOW what a CJ...

I wont comment on any ones particular entry and I find them all amazing and I feel very privileged to have them spend time making these treats for my CJ.

OK I made a mistake while loading the photos and most of them are not in correct order but pretty much there as mine is the mallow puds and that's the second lot you see.

The pages are their names and details etc are on the back and the name of the treat is on the front. On the inside is the recipe. it was done this way so I can remove the pages from the book when I make the recipe.

I can not wait to try some of these yummy treats....
I know Mallow puffs are on special this week, I might buy up for Xmas...

Hi everyone,

Not sure if anyone is stil reading my blog. I am being very slack.

I honestly forgot I had one there for a while.

Im not doing any more scrapbooking anymore. I simply have lost and I mean lost my motivation to do it.
One day I will get around to listing some stuff on TM.. but will do it later as i still have to do the design team till January.

WOW,

hasnt it been a great year so far.

Alex has changed school due to some issues we had and now he is such a happy boy is great BUT saying that my 2 are now the demons from hell.. lol..

So can someone tell me when they stop answering back and start listening?

Not much to really post except we all are alive and well.

I must post again after the hols to fill you in on whats been going on.

Alex did lose another tooth, I hope they dont take too long to fall out lol.

and here i was giving everyone else grief for not posting and here I am 3 months later (hangs head in shame).

Well alot has happened.. Alex has been removed form his school as he wasnt doing too well with the bullying etc and the mother was then not nice to me. But I still have to see her every day at kindy..But hey, i know im in the right for sticking up for my son.

Anyway... well lol thats about it. How exciting...

Chris is still loving work... No new news there....

Abi is growing like a weed, loves kindy. Has a miss attitude about her. has begun to lie... yes i have vinegar and soap on hand).

Alex is now a very happy little boy.. loves his new school, is being respected. No new mates as such but he only started the day after Easter...

As for me I now have 6 jobs.. yes 6 jobs... #1- mother #2- merchandiser for KML #3 merchandiser for Confectioary house #4 relief merchading for cerebos #5 relief merchandising for prolife foods and #6, casual work at the kindy...

So im a busy beaver. But im also doing 2 circle jouornals and im still on the design team. Im loving it all...

Merry Christmas to you all.......

We are going to be having my family come here for Christmas day and then on Boxing Day we are off camping till the 7th of January, but dont bother coming to burgle the place, Chris will still be here as he has to work.
he is leaving me on my own with the kids to play wilderness family...

I hope he realises that some Wilderness families do eat their young...

What are your plans for this festive season?

All my shopping is done and wrapped, done so now for a while. Just need to by some fresh ham for the croissants for breakfast and a lettuce..

To all my friends and family who read this, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very good 2008.

Hi all,

Well, if its not one thing its another

First off Alex had chicken pox arriving on the 10th November.. they went and Abis arrived on the 25th of November.. they went too only for Alex to get German measles on Monday (10th Dec)...

Man its a bit tiring putting up with grotty kids with a "lovely" attitude.

Chritstmas is all home and hosed.... all presents have been purchased, organised and wrapped and some under the tree...

Oh wow my tree, I am so vain when it comes to my tree. I love it.. Some friends and strangers have commented how beautiful my tree is... all i say "i know" what a blow butt I am!!! The photo does nto do it any justice.

So now we are starting to buy the kids birthday presents which is only in January. Nothing like being organised eh?

I havent done a stitch of scrapbooking, trying to get the kids over these illnesses before i start anything and that no doubt means NEXT YEAR....

I have signed up to do another circle journal with the Scrapbook Outlet forum. Lovely ladies...

This time there will be 12 so its going to be interesting for sure.

But I have sworn to try and do 1 Layout a week... alot of photos.. not much paper so I need to head to Taupo to buy some.

Well not long now and we will be camping. This we all cant wait for. Only downfall is that both Chris and I have to work while we are away.

I just took on a merchandising job for 2 hours a week (whoppi I hear ya) but it will keep me a little busy.

So I will pop over only one day out of my time away to do my job. Chris will have to work 4 days out of the 12...

I will pop on again before Christmas I promise...

Well, once again I havent posted recently...

We havent been up to much..

Alex came 4th in the 5 year old boys cross country.. I was so proud of him.. for a little fella he sure can run...

Then last weekend we went to Rotorua for the day...

Im finally off to work on Monday, i think its gonna kill me... im only relief merchandising for my cousin. She works for Cerebos/Greggs, so I guess I work for them too. Nice to have some pocket money this close to xmas.

Still havent done any scrapbooking, but I did complete a cross stitch for a friends baby girl. I like doing them, but im just in no mood to do any craft at all. Not even altered stuff...oh yes i know... im devestated. I think I need to get to a crop, soon, before my mojo leaves me forever.

I have been on the trade Me message boards but im getting a wee bit tired of the people who dont listen or given you a chance to explain, they just jump right in... easier to leave I think before I lose my temper, which is so easy...

Alex is loving school, which is great. At the moment they are learning how to tell time.. so I guess a clock is for xmas?

Abi is loving kindy but she wont let me leave. hope its phase..

She is now playing tiny tots soccer for the kindy team. I tell ya its the mot adorable thing to watch little kids under 5 play soccer.. so cute... oh and she got a goal. I was so proud of her..

Oh well, this must be such a boring blog to read....... But i do read yours so please keep em coming...

Arent i a slack bum....

I should be updating this more but im really a slack bum....

Well not much has happened to us over the last month...

Except.... We are....DEBT FREE, DEBT FREE, DEBT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man I am so pleased with our really hard work getting this achieved over the last 3-4 years.

Well to be honest we have been in debt up to the eyeballs since well before we met which was coming up 10 years ago.

Ok, here as promised is Alex's canvases. But get this Chris still hasnt hung them up yet so both sets are sitting in my cupboard.

Today Alex's school had the junior classes do a dance for everyone. it was great to watch. Except it was meant to start at 11 but the heavens just opened up and it poured to the point o surface flooding. I thought it was going to be cancelled, but 10 minutes later the sun came out just for the kids to do their dancing and as the last class did their thing, it started to spit.

lucky them.

here is Alex and his class, Alex is in the camo pants and light blue t-shirt. You can see him in the first class pic, not the second. But heres a lovely one of his freckles and hat he made especailly for the dance.

Sorry but the photo at the top simply wont co-operate and drag down here,GRRRR but you get my drift.

So sorry everyone i havent posted on the blog for so long.

Been keeping busy with circle journals and committee stuff. oh and kids stuff too.

Not much is really happening. Alex team is doing well in soccer and as far as i know they have won all but one game of soccer. Not bad for 5-6 year olds.

Abi is loving kindy still... not much about her except she is growing like a weed.

As for me, I have completed Abis name canvases today. I will take and post the photo tomorrow as the flash will ruin the photo.
I still have Alexs to do but am waiting for a friend to get back to me about some chipboard stars...

I did get acrylic nails 2 weeks ago.. going ok.. i keep smashing them-lol. I get in to get them back filled till next week, man they will be so trashed by then. But then thats not my problem as she could try and fit me in...But I honestly dont care...

Great news.. we will be debt free, well ok apart from 2 small bills we will be debt free on the 27th September.. I cant wait as I want to go out for dinner with my family...and the kids can get what they want within reason and I can buy lots of scrapping supplies...Also roll on the tattoo shop. i want more.. Chris needs 2 more to be up with me.. I would like 10, so far im on 7.But honestly would mind if i had 1/2 sleeves...

But enough about me....

hi everyone,

How have you all been?

Well alot has happened but not alot if that makes sense.

The holidays have been and gone. Havent done much. Spent the day in Taupo last Wednesday with Pam and her family. Had a great time.

Have done a couple of Circle journals and 3 layouts. But they are the first I have done in a very long time.

I went out with some friends on Tuesday night, left the kids at home with Chris while I had a good time. So nice to talk to adults,real adults..

Kids are having an ok holiday, not much to do due the weather being really shocking in the 1st week.

I am meeting up with some friends again in Taupo on the 21st.. Looking forward to that for sure.
Never met one of them before, she is an online mate from down south. The other i just met 2 weeks ago and she is from Rotorua.

Now im off to check up on everyones blog, I have been so very slack. Will post some photos later on...

Hi all,

No I haven't gone AWOL. I am just getting a bit tired of this blog, it keeps packing up on me..I have no patience to sort it out.

Well whats new???

I have a new cellphone,we have a new computer....

that's about it...

exciting stuff eh?

Now our "money" issues are easing up, I'm starting to get some new stuff for the kitchen. Its so nice to be able to buy proper things instead of the $2 shop stuff. Not putting the $2 shop down as I still like the shop but its so nice to buy things that aren't from there OR the Warehouse.

Gosh I sound so mean but its horrible having to feel like you buying second best even though its really not, realistically its cheaper so why spend loads of money on the same thing you can get cheaper.

Alex is still loving school. Has a few issues with bully's as he is a small kid, but I'm glad he can tell me, because i deal with it as soon as he tells me.

Abi wants to go to school, but shes way to young.

Alex has started to play midget soccer he has only played 1 game so far and didn't play yesterday as its a long weekend

I love going to watch the little kids play, its so much fun. I hope he really gets into playing. It may give him the discipline(focus) he desperately needs.

I have done 4 LOs for the design team (Barmaids) but I cant show ya till later. I'm quite pleased with my efforts.

Well as for the 11th June I will be embarking on my 5th Circle journal. I cant wait.

I have 2 going around at the moment, should be good once they get back.

SO keep placing comments I do read them and appreciate them all.

i am really pleased with them.

I love the patterned paper too much to hide it with embellishments.

But with the Got Milk? page. I have loads of bling on there (thanks for the tip Pam)

Now I just need more time and decent photos to do soem more pages. Lets hope the dry spell has gone for good.

Hi everyone,

Long time no post.

Well we have had such a great Easter.
We went camping at the Opal Hot Springs near Matamata.
The kids had such a great time. We went swimming everyday and they played all the time. What fun..
Will do it again for sure.

As for the hoildays, they suck!!!!
My kids are now bored... and im over tired so I have no paiteince for them, poor buggers.

But we did get Abi's ears pierced yesterday. Not a problem....
She loves showing them off to everyone by saying "i've got earrings"
The shop in town has a new way of doing them, not like when we were young, no loud bang going off, just a slight click and its all over red rover...

Tonight my folks are taking the kids to the local sports ground to see the Balloons over Waikato. They bring down a few balloons to Tokoroa to show them off, which is great as its really hard to find parking to get into the Nightglow in Hamilton. The kids should love it.

As for us, well we arent up to much.. I still havent done any scrapbooking. My mind has been elsewhere. Not so good is it considering the blog is called Happy Scrapper... Should be called Happy Napper....

Swim, swim, swimming...

Well tonight we bit the bulet and took the kids to the public indoor pools.

They LOVED it..... We have decided to do this more often. Just so the kids are scared of the water.

But today when I was chatting with the mums before we picked th ekids up..... She told me her son and Alex were being picked on by an older boy at school.
Now I had no idea of this as Alex has said nothing and enjoys school very much where as her son hates school and goes home crying....

So I got angry as 1, why wasnt i told earlier and 2... Well no one picks on my little boy!!!!(except Abi)..

So I spoke to his teacher and apparently, our darling boys were getting cheeky to the older kids... So the older kids picked back. Not beat up, just words etc....But yes i know the older boys know better and should keep well away from the smaller kids.

Man I can not believe my little boy has a mouth on him..Ok I hear ya..Just like his mother...
And here I was thinking Abi was going to be our problem child???

So Alex had a stern word or 20 when we got home about being cheeky and if he is being picked on to say something to me or the teacher.

Ok so mum has been in hospital since Monday morning. I had a feeling this may happen as we were up in Auckland for the weekend and the change of temperature affects her breathign etc.. so it was bound to happen.Just hate it when shes in there.
But she is being discharged Thursday morning so thats great, she can be at home and nag poor dad...

What a mission to get into this....

I am beginning to "hate" blog spot.

I don't even like the word "hate" let alone use it much. But this is how I feel.

Well not much has happened.
Alex had a school trip to Hamilton Zoo last Wednesday. He really enjoyed himself as they went up on a bus. Anywhere on a bus rocks.

Here is Alex with his class and teacher Mrs Nicholas. Alex is on the far right with the blue hat on.He refused to take it off.

As for my scrap booking. I haven't done any... I am so slack... Just not motivated to do any. But I have some great photos to do.But I am doing 2 Circle journals. I just love these. Making books is great stuff...

We are off to my favourite place this weekend. Yes Auckland... My cousin Tony and his partner Alana and daughter Renea are off to Australia at the end of the month. We will miss them a lot.
Tony and I weren't that close growing up but now we are adults its great we have become close, he is a great guy.
So I am planning on making them and album, well mainly for Renea as she is only 19 months old and wont remember any of us.
So I only have 4 nights to get it done by.. I had better pull finger...

So I wish I had alot to tell you but life is ever so boring.
I do miss my local scrap booking shop. The ladies rocked and product was good too. But I will have to find another one, pretty soon. Even though I have a lot of stuff here i still like to purchase more and give my old stuff away or sell it... strange I know, but change is better than a holiday.

I hope to hear from you soon people... I do read your blogs but because of the new change over etc I have had trouble posting on yours.

Hopefully i can post on others now...

Just a little update

Hi everyone,

WOW what a mission to get this post on here. Blogspot have been mucking around again-lol

Its taken me 4 days to post...

Well,Alex has now been at school for 2 1/2 weeks. He is loving it so much. He still wants to go on weekends.

He has received around 5 certificates from his teacher for various things, which I find great as a scrapbooker. So many things to keep etc.. but I am being realistic and only keeping important stuff, which at the moment is everything.

Abi is still having a little trouble settling in back at kindy. Only because her big brother isn't there to look out for her.

Breaks my heart every time I leave her as she crys. But the teachers are great with those situations.

I also joined the committee again for another year. A job which I dont mind.

Well I have been busy scrapping, I have made a folder curtoisy of my friend and fellow scrapper Mel.

I think I have made few changes to what Mel has, but I don't think I can be as good as her yet..

So what do you think of my folder?

As for Chris, he has been working hard as per usual, Just gotten over a cold which he hates, well I hate as he is "dying". But he is looking forward to our camping holiday at Easter time. I think we all are.. Nice to get away with friends.

Alexs first day at School

Well Alex started school yesterday.

He realy really loves it.

He is going to Tokoroa North School.

The kids in his class are

Carmen, Carl, River, Lucas, Jayden, Briar,Olivia, Zara,Tyler and of course Alex.

His teacher Mrs Nicholas had him for his school visits so that made the transistion very easy for him and he is good friends with Jayden.

I only took still photos, so when i get them developed in about 6 months time -lol I will put them up on here.

Im just really pleased he had a good time starting school.

So far Abi loves it. Alex is still in Taupo so he wont see it till Tuesday (9th).

Costs an arm and leg and took almost 2 hours to out the darn thing up but it was well worth it for sure..

I know im a little late but to be honest I couldnt be bothered being on the intenet.. some how its boring me...

So anyway, our Christmas was excellent, the kids got way too much.
Chris and I exchanged presents for the first time in 8 years. he got me a bracelet, earrings and a ring. and I got him a 3 in 1 machine that makes toasted sandwiches, waffles and has grill plates. You see each thing can be removed etc...

We are looking forward to next years Christmas as we hare hosting it. It was be so nice...
I even finally did what I have been saying for about 5 years I will do... start up a Christmas Club with the local supermarket.

Also, our car has been paid off, Yee har for that one, now that saves us some pingers for sure, but got Sky on Chris' birthday so some of the car money has gone into that.

Only 2 more weeks and my babies will be having their birthdays. Alex will be 5 and Abi will be 3.... They are getting way too much for their birthdays too, but birthdays are special.

Now I know Im early but does anyone want to come camping with us at Easter? We will be staying at the Opal Hot Springs 6km out of Matamata. It is a nice place, cheap too.Large swimming pools, flat tent sites etc...

I have caught up on everyones blogs and im so pleased everyone had a safe happy Chrismas. Sure takes alot out of everyone doesnt it?

I have to have my first design team project in by the 5th and I havent even started it. I am so lacking motivation. I need some, can i buy some from anywhere?

I dont have any photos from Chrismas but I do have one of the kids at the last of kindy at there dress up party.
Do enjoy and once I get the photos developed from xmas I will show them to you.
Plus I have added a phot of Alex at his kindy birthday party and Abi in front of our tree.

A family update

WOW I have no idea where my post went too. It was a long one too.

but anyway here is the edited version.

Well I was going to post to see what we are all up to...

Alex- Starts school on the 9th Feb. He cant wait. He is really loving the thought of school.
He will miss kindy but will still see the teachers etc as Abi will be there for another 2 years.
He is looking forward to Santa coming. He is getting so much Thomas stuff its not funny. But he does deserve it I think. He is a great kid.
Alex had his kindy birthday on Thursday, it went really well, Chris took time off work to come to it. It made it special for Alex.

Abi- her highness, well what can i say about her? She is loving kindy, she wants to go every day and cant understand the concept of weekends and why she cant go then...
Abi is also looking forward to Santa coming. She has loads of Dora stuff.

Chris - Well he is having a birthday soon, on the 21st. Hopefully it will be a nice day for him. We are getting Sky TV on the Wednesday so he will enjoy that I know.
He is still loving work, as sad as that is but his boss is really great to all of us..
Cant say much about him as nothing has changed-lol.

Zeetra- Well not much happening here. I'm trying to get my headaches under control by medication. Daily headaches is a hassles but at least I know there is something in there for it to hurt-lol.
I have my 1st assignment for the design team. Its not what I expected but it sure is a challenge.
Hopefully I can get more scrapbooking done over the holidays. I want to do some.
its so sad my fav shop is closing down but hey, I will get over it. There is another in Hamilton, well 2 actually so any excuse to go out of town shopping is fine with me.
I'm finding it a little hard to adjust to the fact my baby boy is off to school is less than 8 weeks. Seems like yesterday he was born...
Oh yes, I got my recipe circle journal back, it took a little while longer than expected. but I was so pleased with the book.Will post photos soon.. needs a little mending...

hi all,

My goodness i have been slack.

I have been so sick since the 19th of november.. it hasnt been funny.

But now all is good. We are just getting ready for Christmas and Chris' birthday.

I am so pleased with ourselves,since April 2004 we have paid off over $32,000 in bills. That includes the car which is paid off this Thursday. Arent we good?

Not much has happened.
I went to a girls night in Arapuni last Saturday, what a laugh I havent laughed that much in such a long time. You get a bunch of great pommie chicks together and you have a blast.Then on Sunday we went to a 2 year old party, we turned up 2 hours late. I thought the party started at 3 not 1, our engagement party all over again.....(a story to tell later on)i got sunburnt, not good... but luckily I am now brown.. silly me

my favourite shop is closing... but for a very good reason ill health...
Scrapbookin Annies will close shop on the 22nd after 5 years of great trading. I love this store, not because its a scrapbooking store but because everyone who works there is really awesome and lovely ladies I will miss them. She is selling everything in store for 50% off, so I went shopping yesterday and got some great bargains.

Get better soon....or else!!!-lol

Today Abi had her first real decent hair cut. She look so sweet now...it finally the same length after her major hair cut of january 2006... (self-hair cut)Will post pictures later..

Kids have had their Santa photos taken at harvey normans. $5 for 10 photos. What a great bargain...

Well I have turned the most amzing 33 today.

But what a ratchet day.. I have had a bed headaches for 4 days now. The docotr cant really do much... which is a pain but hopefuly it goes away pretty soon.

My lovely husband bought me some flowers and some smelly stuff. The kids got me some choccies which i cant eat ATM. But to top it all off. My own parents forgot my birthday.. go figure....

A good friend made me a cake out of my name.. which is really special...

The infamous Christmas Tree

Well as promised here is a photo of our tree.

We have kept it very minimal this year. But we love it. We have blue xmas lights on it and some clear stars on the ceiling above it. Looks very tranquil. I have always wanted a white tree. It doesnt look very xmassy but I still love it...Chris reckons next year we will have purple decorations.. I threatened him with pink-lol.

What do you think of our tree?
It will look even more better with the presents underneath it, as i used blue/silver paper this year..

Well I honestly have not much to say.

It has beena trying week for me. The kids have been really pushing my limits and we are only half way through the term.
Alex is loving school visits and we go again on Wednesday.

Abi is being destructive. Pulling heads and legs of barbies and ripping books. I really hope its a phase.

Chris is still loving work as per usual. He is happy as a pig in mug though, he got given a dirt bike on the weekend but it needs some repairs, so that goes along the project pile with his go-kart.

As for me...im still getting used to the medication the doc gave me. im still really tired in the mornings.
But I have had a bed headaches for the last 2 days. I have out that down to Raspberry Raro juice.

I did some altered scrapping on the weekend. Turned out ok....
I have some invites to design and get made for 6 months time, yes its good. I have a lot of time to prepare.
As the barmaid job starts soon. Im really looking forward to that.

Well I went out Sunday morning, and Chris decided to out the Christmas tree up... so when i came home he had almost finshed assembling the tree. He was bored so he thought he woudl cheer me up with the tree. He did. I really like the tree... will post pics later today.

I finished and wrapped all my Christmas presents 2 weeks ago. Plus got my Christmas cards ready to post.
For once im onto it. But now they are bringing out the Christmas stock stuff to buy, but I will not buy anoything more except 3-4 boxes of choccies... you know for emergency presents.Will get them later as I dont want them to 1- be eaten and 2- get spolied in the heat.

I went thorugh our wardrobe yesterday OMG what a heaps of c-rap i keep. Threw out 90% of it. Keeping a very small box of stuff. Some will be placed in the china cabinet.

OMG, i do have alot to say dont I.....

OK, as for the new meds I'm on... They seem to be working ok. I'm just tired 90% of the time, but getting used to it. It will take a bit for them to kick in....
Since I'm tired etc.. I have been in such a foul mood today. No one can do anything right.Poor Chris went and bought me some DVD's and I went off at him because they were ones I didn't want and because he never spent $$ on himself....
Hopefully I snap out of it quickly as I hate feeling this way and I'm on borderline tears.... hormonal I guess (well my excuse anyway).

Finally some answers

Hi there,

Now some of you know I have been sick.

I have suffered form almost daily dizzy spells that the doctor insisted was Sinusitis.

Well after having this problem for 2 1/2 years I demanded i see an ENT specialist.

Well I finally got an appointment and went up to hamiton on Monday to see him.
He asked loads of questions and after oh 5 minutes he says its not Sinusitis..He was adamant is wasnt that.

he thought it could be my inner ear so he did a test on my eyes where i had to wear blackout goggles that video my eye movement. It was horrible at the time as the shook my head for 20 seconds,. talk about freak me right out.
Then did a couple of other small tests with the googles on, no nothing wrong with my eyes etc...

Had to stand on a large cushion and close my eyes so he could test my balance, I turned out to be better than average.

Then he asked about any head injuries.
I might have hit my head when i came off skate board at age 7 but nothing else.

he says that after asking many,many more questions that I suffer from

MIGRAINES!!!!!!!

Well, yes they are crap to have but OMG how cool... I can handle that...
its such a relfief to know what it is..

Now im on a preventative medication. so hopefully the attacks will not so frequent.

but yesterday I sat and looked up migraines on the computer.... after reading all the symptoms (yes dizziness and my other symptoms as migraines)
It all made sense. Im so pleased.
Now I am trying to figure out what triggers them off so Ican avoid it.I know high pitched noises is one, strong perfume is another and food may be one as well.
So I have a huge list of food I have to avoid...

I know being tired is another so im off to bed for a good sleep.

What i did today...

Well I thought I would share what I have done today. It has been the most I have done since I have fallen ill.

So far today I have

straightened out the couch cover
put on a load of towels
scrubbed my kitchen benches
shined my sink
scrubbed out my microwave
cleaned top of oven (including knobs etc)
wiped over jug
took rubbish out
made my bed
Made the kids beds
wiped kitchen cupboards
hang out a load of towels
mop kitchen floor (twice)
fold washing
wipe out fridge
shopping list
organised dinner (stroganoff)
swept front steps
washed kitchen curtain

It feels good to have accomplished all of this, Im tired now but that what you get for over doing it -lo

But here is my washing pile, it took me nearly 2 hours to fold it all.There were lots of tea towels and face cloths etc...As for Abi... well we just wont go there....

OMG what a hassle

WOW, this is the first time in a couple of weeks I have been able to see my blog... I click on the link and nothing but a pink screen shows up. Yeah i support breast cancer month but the whole pink screen was a bit much-lol.

So not much is new with us....

Abi has an ear infection as well as the vomiting bug, thank god for a new huge washing machine.

Oh yes Abi learnt to ride her bike too, WITHOUT her parents help, her big brother taught her, im so proud of him to do that for her. he really looks after her, helping her with little things.He has such a sweet heart. He will be an amazing man when he grows up as I know he is already a sweet little man now -aaawww i hear you all say...

Well now i must dash and catch up with everyone elses blogs....

Hi all,

Well we have had a slow week.

Took Alex to his appointment at the child development centre. Drove all the way to Hamilton ( 1 hour each way) only to be in the room for 5 minutes... Go figure...

I havent been the best. I have a chest, sinus and ear infection..which has makes me feel dizzy/light headed which then triggers off my "panic" attacks... So not nice at all. I had a "turn" while waiting at the Warehouse on Thursday it wasnt very nice at all...

But the good thing is, I am on the waiting list to se a ENT specialist and I also made an appointment to see a private one in november, will cost us but I have to get something done.

The kids are good, loving the hoildays. Enjoying the beautiful weather we are having. Generally getting along just lovely.
Chris is at work... No change there...lol.

its pretty boring aorund here. Notihng to really report but I like to keep my blog up to date. I dont going to read a blog and nothing has been updated in weeks.

Im still doing the CJ's too. But due to illnesses and other stuff. we are behind by about 3 weeks. Cant help these things. Cant wait to get both of mone back. then im hoping to join another one from somewhere. I am really loving it.

Any plans for the hoildays?

Hi all,

Well the hoildays are soon approaching us quite quickly.

We dont have any set plans except for Tuesday (26th). Alex has a hospital appointment so we decided to take the kids to Hamilton Zoo for a treat..
Im looking forward to that.

But other than that we are pretty laxed about it all.
I do plan on having a couple of Alexs mates stay overnight. Plus We hope to catch up with some friends in town for the day, maybe a BBQ lunch etc... (yes debbie I remember-lol)...
Might even take the kid to feed the ducks at the lake.Oh yes I promised Alex to take him to the movies, I think Barnyard looks funny.

Someone suggested we swap a chimp at the zoo for Chris..well his workmate suggested that only because Chris has been off with a pretty bad chest infection.But he is getting better where i am getting the damn cold back again.....
Its only in the holidays I wish I lived back in Auckland, that way there would be more to do with the kids during the hoildays.

Well I hope you have something exciting to do during the hoildays, if you do, please can you tell me... I need ideas..

My bets were on Dilana, but since she had her "meltdown" and then proceeded to remind everyone about it every week I don't think so any more. As Chris says, all she does is sing songs that have repetitive lyric/choruses in them, so basically she sings the same words over an over for 3 minutes... Its boring....
I don't like Lukas, something about him makes my skin crawl plus I don't like his singing...
So for me its between Magni and Toby...
Magni is great BUT he does have a young family.... Toby on the other is great, I still cant get that song out of my head...Plus Aussie needs something good to happen to it.. i cant diss Aussie after all my mother is Australian.

Hi all,

WOw I have been slack havent I, I havent blogged in over 10 days how shocking.....

Anyhoo... The kids have had colds and i have had my panic attacks come back....But now the kids have given me their colds.. How nice of them to share something with me...

Well not alot has happened in 10 days, havent lost a guy or anything.

We got 3 trailer loads of firewood yesterday and yes that meant we cut and loaded it ourselves.
I tidied up the section a little yesterday.

A close family friend died on Sunday night...cant go to the funeral as its in Auckland...will send a card..

Alot happening at kindy though, they are expecting a lot of money out the parents in a short amount of time.
They are selling sauage rolls 20-25 for $3.50. Calenders are $10 and the kindy photos are $25 a pack with the class photo being $12.Doesnt sound like alot but if you get 1-2 sausage rolls, 2 calenders and 3 packs of photos it sure adds up... Dont forget Alex AND Abi go to the same kindy.

It makes it hard as we are only paid fortnightly and I feel stink if I dont get anything.

I also have lost my inspiration to scrap... this is what I really hate. I want to do some but cant be bothered.

But anyway, I just read my blog how bloody depressing it is.. Dont worry im not always this sad... Just having one of those days....

WOW what a week!

WOW, we have had a busy week.

Since I last posted, our washing machine decided to die so we went a bought a new 7.5kg Simpson washing machine and a 6kg baumatic dryer.
Both are so huge, taking up all my space.

Then on Monday we went to a couple of schools to see which one we would find suitable for Alex.
We had 2 choices, David Henry School and North School.
DH has only 190 pupils where North has almost 460.
We have chosen North for him as it has the facilities he needs for his development issues.

So on Tuesday I enrolled him and he starts school visits on the 1st November even though he wont be starting school till February.

Wednesday i was sick and Thursday was shopping day so that was really busy. Exciting stuff I know!
On Friday, I recieved my other CJ from the scrapping kiwi mums forum, it was Dallas' CJ.
She has this amazing idea in her book I may steal for another CJ if I ever do one.
But since I had Rach slice Cj and now Dallas' CJ here I needed help this work way way too much for me as its way to damn good.
So off i trotted to Scrapbookin Annies..... The ladies in the shop including the customers were realy really impressed with the great work, hope you ladies dont mind me showing off your work.but I did need help.
So after 2 hours I came home with loads of ideas and paper I have never used before.
But even after that, if you get to see my work, you'll understand that im into simplistic scrapbooking. I dont use a lot of embellishments and i hate to distract from the patterned paper if I use any.

So by last night i was buggered, i completed 2 CJ with tags in 1 afternoon. It may not have looked it but they did take me a long time to do.

BUT I am going out to night to a friends place for a girls night in. Should be fun...I never get invited to do much with my friends as most live out of town, not that has stopped me before.

Well I must go and get my "stuff" together for tonight.
Organise dinner.
Have a shower.
Make myself look pretty.....

Trip to the BIG SMOKE

Well we are home safe, well we came home Monday night but I was even too buggered last night to post.

We had an extremely busy weekend catching up with people and doing things we needed to in Auckland.

I cant believe how much i miss the place, it still feels like home.

We had fun visiting on Sunday and with the party it was a full on day.

The party was good.Still not sure on the response about my canvas????? Nothing was said to me about it.

We spent way too much money... had 2 too many late nights.

Kids had a blast, next time im coming up for a week and taking the kids to the zoo and Kelly Tarltons (family pass from flybuys).

Will post photos tomorrow, my camera sux and all the photos are too dark to post. Plus i guess it didnt help when Auckland was way overcast and pouring with rain all weekend.

What to pack???

Well we are off for a weekend away in Auckland, YAY I hear form some of you the rest of you just ask why that place?

Well I am from Auckland and I do still love thje place, it still holds a special place in my deep dark heart.
But I really am going up for my cousins birthday party.

We have a few poeple to go visit and things and places to go (scrapbooking shops here I come!!!!!!!!!!!)

But what on earth do I pack? I dont want people looking at me as if I come from a hick town, Tok is not THAT hick... lol...

The kids have all nice clothes packed but as for me since I have had the kids I have packed on the KGS and cant lose it. But I dont really have much to wear which is very depressing. So how can i look nice and still be comfortable? Go naked... YEAH RIGHT... wear a moomoo? A bit chilly i say..... a paper bag perhaps?

I was just reading nic howards blog..sorry cant do those fancy links that others can do...
But anyhoo she was commenting on how the tattoo on Tommy Lees back woudl look good on a page.
Which got me wondering and being nosey.

How many of you have tattoo? If so what are they? Are you willing to expose yourself on your blog?
I dare you... wellnot a dare blog dare just a Zeetra dare...

I personally have 6 of them and want to add to my collection so if the scrapbooking shops dont appeal, there is a great tattoo studio on Lincoln Rd.... I will be paying them a visit for sure.

Here is the canvas completed.

I little different to the other one.

Hubby doesnt like it, he only said it looks ok to keep me quiet im sure of it.
He says the flower looks out of place. In the photo it looks a little out of sorts but in true light is not bad.

But I like what I have done anyway.

Tell me what you think about it, be honest... I can only learn from you being honest... well I have 2 more canvases to do but they are of my own children and I can take my time on those.

Hello everyone,

Now I need your opinion...

I am making this canvas for my little cousin Renea, It will be here 1st birthday party next weekend (6th Aug).
I have painted the canvas a light pink and I have matted the photo the way I want it done. Tghe lettering is also glued down on what is pink and brown cardstock.
But im having trouble placing everything so it looks nice and not empty.

I have placed everything on the canvas but nothing is stuck to the canvas. I also dont have much if no more money to spend on this but have things lying around the house i can use on it. ( gosh that sounded rude).
But we are on a budget here and its a challenge to me to do it not costing alot.

I am open to any suggestions....also please excuse the quality of the photo, its only for an idea, will place a nicer photo once its complete.

Please help this needs to be done by Thursday the 3rd as it will need to dry etc before we leave on Saturday.

Hi there,

Well today was mine. It wasn't all bad just bloody annoying.

Abi had her first full day at kindy today. She LOVED it. but she will only be going for full days on a Thursday to give me time out and time to do the shopping etc.

Well here goes my day...

7.30 drop Chris off at work
8-8.45 get kids to eat breakfast, it takes this long.....
9-10 filling out paperwork at kindy, make sure Abi is ok
10-10.30 Go and buy Chris his morning tea then spend half hour with him at work (that was nice)
10.30-11.45 make an appointment at optician, select new frames cost $310 BUT that includes sunnies as I need them.. post some letters.pay a couple of bills.....drop script off at chemist for Alex....get some lunch
11.45-12.45 Eat my lunch at home watch Tyra...
1pm go to get hair cut and coloured MUST leave by 2.30 to get kids from kindy...
2.45 leave hair dressers, hair foiled but NOT cut... I am not happy, she also put in 27 foils when i only wanted around 10-12.... I am running late.
3pm get kids, race back to hair dressers as my jacket was still there.
3-3.30 get petrol, why did it take 30 minutes i hear you ask, well some bloody Australian male ( ihave anothing against ozzies, im half of one)left his credit card at a local restaurant, so he went back to gets it, which freezes the till at the servo. We have to wait and wait and wait now there is around 10 people waiting to be served and another 7 waiting for gas, 1 person on and 1 dick head getting a card from Albericos.
He does return after 15 minutes, apologizes, then leaves his card behind AGAIN....I tell ya what a moron.
Eventually I pay my bloody $92 for 3/4 tank...anyhoo.
3.30 baby sit a mates daughter for an hour and half, she is agreat kid, no problems at all here
5.30- go shopping, drive into carpark but see people that i don't want to see going into the supermarket, so i just leave, i decide on the spot to get the kids Burger King for dinner so they can play in the play area.
Chris mets us down there and he goes home with the kids leaving me to do the shopping.
6.30 start the shopping. Well why bother.. all the specials had run out, no meat was on special,had bugger all selection anywhere.... I tell ya, what a crap day...
7.30 get text from Chris, what do you want for dinner?, while im shopping, he hasnt even bothered to organize dinner, which the meat was in the microwave,MEN!!!!!!!!!
So by the time i get home at 7.45, unload car, put groceries away. Then he decides to cook dinner. Its now
8.30 we finally eat dinner. I am not happy as i prefer to eat around 5-7 not 8-10.

Anyway, this was just a typical day in this household but I tell ya........

Hi there,

Alex has a little mate called Alec.

They went to kindy together and became great buddies.

Unfortunatly Alec had to move away to the big smoke with his mum Bonita, Dad Jesse and sister Georgia.
Alex misses him so much he keeps asking aobut him.

Well today I told him that we were going to visit Alec, OMG you should have seen his precious little face.
He is so excited even though its 3 weeks away.

I am getting excited too, I love Auckland and I miss it sometimes, it has been over a year since we were last up there and i do feel homesick for the place, yes i know im a nutter... jafa flavoured nut bar.
I want to do so much but have no time.

Chris works all weekend and has only Mondays off so hopefully he can get that weekend off.
I tihnk i will save my money and come up to Auckland before xmas if I can. Spend some time getting to know people again.
As i have a friend Jo who is in police college at the moment. She wont be out till November sometime. Sounds like a prison sentence doesnt it? I wish her all the best....

So now back to Alec.... I have included a photo of Alex and Abi together so Georgia can see her too...
Cant wait to see you again...

YAY its done. I finished my CJ.

I belong to a MSN scrapbooking forum, well 2 actually.

We are currently doing our first ever circle journal. I love these, Why haven't I done one before.
DH had 3 days off work to spend time with the demons.

I had a chance to catch up and do this as we all know it can be a time sucker.
my theme on this CJ is "ABOUT YOU". I want to know about yourself, likes dislikes, I even want a photo.

I cant wait to get this one underway, it wont be back till late December.
It looks pretty plain but I used PP so I wouldnt have to embellish it alot due to it being handled lots.

Well good news, Chris has been smoke free now for 3 whole weeks. He is getting on ok, but finds it really frustrating when people know he is giving up and they still smoke around him, like close to him... which is rude. YKWIM, they could have been a little more considerate.

I went thourgh my wardrobe and drawers today, I did the Flylady thing. I have thrown out a huge pile of clothes.
Now I need to buy some new ones... Chris, did I tell you how much I love you??????I need some money!!!!$$$$$.

I will have a look around Auckland when we go up for my little cousins 1st birthday party.I cant wait for this party, Renea is such a cutie and has stolen my heart.

So tomorrow im off to the op shop to dump my clothes off. Most of the clothes are still near new. But im too fat to wear them any more.
Somebody is going to be well dressed in Tokoroa.

Hi all,

What a bloody annoying day.

I am trying to make my own journal for the circle journal on Scrapping kiwi mums but its not going very well.
I tried to make one out of an address book which was going well until it came to putting holes in the cardstock. I went to get holes put in it by Paper plus. but there binding doesnt match up with the holes that i already put in my cover @#$%^& !!!!!!

So I now am trying something new again!!!..

Will let have to let you know how I get on..just needed to vent my damn frustration...

Well,

It was a great time out.

Rotorua was packed due to the holidays and every motel was fully booked, event though we weren't planning on staying in one...

We got our movies tickets which wasn't to bad for $12 each.

then we went to dinner at Lone Star.... If your starving go there, what a fantastic meal.
Luckily we didn't have a starter or else we wouldn't have eaten our dinner. the servings were large.
I didn't eat all of mine as I felt ill because I had eaten too much-LOL.
But we did order dessert, Cheesecake, we had to bring some of it home as it was enough to feed 4 people!
But we did the touristy thing and bought the t-shirt....LOL.

The movie was good too, not as funny as his normal movies (Adam Sandler) but it was a good one to see, I recommend it to everyone. I even cried...

Well that's about it.... I cant wait to go again.

Well Chris and I are finally off on a date with each other..

We have never been on a date before and I am really looking forward to it. (yes we have NEVER been on date with each other before)

Mum is looking after our children who will hopefully be asleep shortly after we leave.

The plans are to go out for dinner at Lone Star or some other nice place, then off to the movies to see "Click".

Will have to let you know how it goes....

2 weeks smoke free..WAY TO GO CHRIS

Hi all,

Well its now been 2 weeks and Chris has been smoke free.

He has decided to spend his "smoke" allowance money on DVD's. Which he did so last night, lucky us gets to watch Days of Thunder and the kids get to watch Chicken Run or Antz ( double DVD).

I desperately need some time to do some scrapbooking. I have put my hand in way too many hats and I have a few swaps and circle journals to complete.
One swap has been sent to Scrapbookin Annies, another is a simple swap and is organized on this end, just waiting on address to post to.
I need to design another circle journal for Scrapping kiwi mums, as im sort of organizing it I need to follow up with people who haven't sent me their addresses etc.
Plus I also have a monthly challenge on another forum which is a page but I can do that all month, but the sooner its done the better I say.

Chris plans on taking Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off so he can spend time with the kids. They will LOVE that. We don't have any plans to go anywhere as we just had to fork out for 4 new tyres on the car today. New tyres,now no money-lol. Isn't it always the way...

Oh well Ihad better get a eriggle on, I have soup on the stove, kids that are wanting Dora on DVd and I need to do some housework, plus the fire needs wood.

We decided, well I decided that I wanted some photos taken today of us all, well mainly me for scrapbooking.
So I thought i would share to everyone how beautiful my family is.
We are in the middle of the bush somewhere by the mill. It was so quiet and peaceful.

I love living in this area, we are surrounded by such beauty and never take advantage of it.

I must bring Alex and Abi out here again for an afternoon during the hoildays.

8 days smoke free

Hi there,

Well Chris is now on his 8th day of being smoke free.
He is using the patches and they seem to be helping. All tohugh, it doesnt help when your dropped off home with a guy puffing away on a cigarette.. doesnt help.

But I am proud that he is doing well, we usually are fighting by now and we havent even had a little scrap. which is great.

Will keep you all up to date.

Im off to do a cypercrop tonight with the girls from Scrapbook Outlet. Looking froward to it.
Hopefully I can create something amazing.

Abi was taken from our section!!!

Just what you never want to happen to you....

Well the story goes...

We have an elderly lady a few houses up who is sweet as anything but very forgetful.

Well today she was hanging around next door as she does sometimes as she steals their flowers.
But today Alex and Abi were outside playing around the trailer where i could hear them etc.
But with in about 30 seconds Abi had climbed up a little on our gate and this old lady had lifted her over the gate and was heading up the road with her.
Alex went nuts, he was yelling at her to leave his sister alone (this I didnt hear as I was distracted for some reason).

Luckily my neighbour was home and he stopped her taking Abi away.
Abi is too young to understand stranger danger.
I know this lady wont harm her, she is sweet but she also wont remember to bring her home.
But I contacted the rest home where she goes for day care 4 days a week, they rang her daughter who then came and found her mother who loves to walk all over the place mainly taking flowers.
She came to apologise to us. But its not her fault, we actually dont blame the old lady. But its is VERY scary.. What if my neighbour wasnt home??

Now im off to have one stiff drink!

Our house is giving up

Hi all,

No not as bad as it sounds.

First off Abi has completely given up on the dummy. She hasnt had one since my last post on it, but she has now stopped asking for it too. Im still so very proud of her.

NOW....

Chris has decided to quit smoking.
It has been a battle in this house for many years to get him to quit.

He promised to quit once the kids were born but he just never got around to it.

He did quit for a littlew while around 3-4 months but then lost his job in terrible circumstances and so he took it up again.
But his work is helping him and others to quit using patches and gum.
He says the gum is pretty foul but the patches seem to be working so far, well its only been 1 day-lol.

I will keep you updated on how he is going.
Its going to be hard struggle for us all as he gets pretty grumpy....

Just another typical day in our household

Hi all,

Well its just another boring day here in our place.

Before I dropped Alex off at kindy I took some photos of the kids.
Alex refused to look at the camera and when he did, he was not smiling very nicely.

But I thought I would capture Abi actually looking like a girl for once, well maybe twice....

The kids were meant to have their kindy photos taken yesterday but the photgrapher was sick so Abi was dressed nicely yesterday, I should have taken a pic then as Alex was dressed up also.

But once i get a nice pic of him i will post here.

DISCO FEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Well Alex's kindy had a disco on Tuesday night.

Silly muggins me decided I would be a helper, but little did I know that role meant do most of it!

It was such a great success, the kids had an absolute blast.

One of the kids grand parent is a DJ, so we had great music,lollies, decorations,food etc...

All the kids wanted the next day was another disco.
Once i get the photos developed I will post them for you..yes mainly you Steph-lol.

Abi's kindy is having a disco on the 23rd, but you have to pay for that one, we may go.... the kids will love it.

Yes my life is so exciting but my recipe journal is coming along ok. It ripped today so im not a happy chappy.
I may have to do my cover from scratch.
But my sign in page is done, so all I have to complete is my own sign in page.

Will take some photos of when its completed.

Kindy photos are next week so we cant wait for that.

Abi finally did it!

Abi has finally gotten rid of the dreaded dummy!

We gave her a teddy bear called Moochy.
He needed hugs and cuddles and Abi was the best person to give it to him.
So they now "sleep" together.

Abi still asks for the dummy and I cant keep telling her to wait till payday. Not that she knows what payday is.

When she is alseep tomorrow afternoon I am going to dig out all of her dummies and take a photo so i scrap it.

Cant be easy for a small kid to give up on something they have had for over 2 years.

Im so proud of my baby girl...

Hi all,

Wow not much is happening in the Allan household today.
Its raining outside so the kids cant play outside.
But they did decide to do some drawing this morning, so when i went to look at it, I saw that it was on their faces. I did have to add some freckles, they looked so cute.
But after i had done a major clean out of the bathroom cabinets and al of the kids old felt tips and crayons. I treated them to some new felts.
Once we got home all they wanted to do was play outside in the muddy puddles so off they went.
10 minutes later, they come in,wet and cold.But they had a blast. I also got some more card for my recipe circle journal. I have completed the front pages but wont show it on here until it has started. Well you might laugh at it....
Well have a good holiday tomorrow people. Will get back and update as much as possible.

Hi everyone,

Well I decided to get a blog, it seems to be the in thing these days, so why not join in I say.

Well I will tell you a bit about myself.

My name is Zeetra and I am32 and I live in Tokoroa with my 30year old hubby Chris.
We have 2 children, Alex is our 4 year old son and Abi is our 2 year old demon daughter.

I love camping,watching movies and relaxing and most of all well apart from my family is scrapbooking.
I have just finished off my recipe book for a circle journal I am taking part in. I can not wait for this to start.

I also belong to around 8 forums,ranging form my own scrapbooking one to a foodies one to a parenting one.
So im not bored when im 0n here.

So once i get used to this "blog" I will show some of my scrapbooking photos and some of the kids too.
