Abi finally did it!
Abi has finally gotten rid of the dreaded dummy!
We gave her a teddy bear called Moochy.
He needed hugs and cuddles and Abi was the best person to give it to him.
So they now "sleep" together.
Abi still asks for the dummy and I cant keep telling her to wait till payday. Not that she knows what payday is.
When she is alseep tomorrow afternoon I am going to dig out all of her dummies and take a photo so i scrap it.
Cant be easy for a small kid to give up on something they have had for over 2 years.
Im so proud of my baby girl...

Congrats on weening Abi of her dummy, it took me until Jenna was41/2 to wean her of having a bottle at night in the end i just took it away and refused to give it to her...we had a few nights of screaming when she went to bed but now she doesnt even miss it.
Love the front page of your recipe journal BTW.

Love the recipe CJ cover cant wait to see it IRL. Congrats on Abi giving up her dummy!
I got rid of my kids dummies by snipping off a little bit of the end until they got really frustrated with it and threw it away themselves saying 'its bwoken mummy!'lol!

Good on you and the dummy. Elliot (now 6) had his til he was 4! One day when visiting Granny he threw it in the rubbish bin - whenever he asked for it we said "But you threw it in Granny's bin. Remember?" and he used to have a puzzled expression and say "Yeah" And that was it (must admit I was having a heart attack prior to that about how to get it off him after 4 years (how bad a mother am I?)
